Day 3- we finished the front fence area and then got lazy. I went to a rummage sale picked up a couple of books and we both spent the rest a the day reading. Vacations are so nice, I didn't even feel guilty about wasting the day.
Day 4 - It is raining. I can't believe I am actually bummed about that. Today is the last day Justin and I will have off together for a long time so the yard project will get drawn out for many weeks to come. He is going to a church retreat this weekend so Donnie and I have the weekend to ourselves. Starting next weekend Justin will be going back to the horses at Butte Creek and my basketball player will turn back into a cowboy.

Sounds like you had some good quality mother/son time. Do you have any big plans for the childless weekend? We would probably sleep all day, commandeer the remote and use the computer without children interrupting us. The thought of that is unfathomable.
Some yard work is a good start. I planted a little, but gardens are very different here. I didn't water yesterday because I watered on Friday. Steve laughed at me when I was disturbed at the wilted foilage.
