Procrastination

Hi my name is Noelle and I am a procrastinator...
I have put off getting on the computer and typing my blog mostly because it takes time and I really am not a great typist. Anyway it just dawned on me that I have had a lot going on and so therefore I am way behind on this blog. So hopefully I can get my act together and you will see several blogs over the next couple of days.
In continuation...I couldn't get in my library for about 2 weeks because it was temporarily Daniel's room. I can hear you all saying "who in the world is Daniel?" Well we have been thinking about it for some time and last year we decided to host an exchange student for this school year. Donnie already new Daniel previously so that took the scary part out of the equation. We had planned on him using the spare room but after Jennifer left it was in dire need of some work. Once again " who in the world is Jennifer?" - a college age boarder who stayed with us for a year, but that is a different story. So we painted the room, pulled out the carpet and laid a new sub floor then had to have new carpet laid down. This however took longer than we planned and Daniel arrived before it was complete. Consequently he camped out in our library for the first two weeks.
Daniel is from Korea and technically is not an exchange student. He is one of many Korean kids whose parents choose to send them to school in America, not because our schools are any better but because it is easier to get into an American college and therefore get a job here. He is a senior and this is I believe his fourth school year away from home.

Ah-ha! Mystery solved. I see that you have continued mom and dad's great legacy of taking in strays and what-not. (Which, as of last time I checked, they still do periodically.) If I ever get tired of one of my kids, can I send them up to stay with you? Hee Hee. Just joking of course. Maybe I'll come live there instead! :)

As you can see from our blog...we follow in your footsteps! Or maybe it is just some genetic EO thing. I am waiting to get things done so we can do 5th quarters...Athena has not had them in a long while. We'd like to do them at our house.
