So I ask myself "why are you starting a blog? you hate writing letters, isn't this the same thing?" my son Justin even shook his head at me when he saw what I was doing. I recently discovered the blog of an old friend and shortly after the one belong to my sister's family. I love being able to take a quick peek into their lives, whenever I have the time not just during long distance calling hours. Those little tidbits, thoughts, family happenings and photos help me feel connected to people I care about. So, I hope to return the favor and give them, in return, a look into our world. I am not artistic or eloquent and knowing me I will not be a super frequent poster but it will be here for friends and family. So, check in once in a while take a peek and let me know what you think.

Pen-as in a writing instrument
Pen-as in penitentiary (just the name not in reality)
Pen-as in a place to keep animals( 9 at the moment)
Donnie came up with it, Justin rolled his eyes but I loved it!

Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! Now we can keep up with eachother's lives. By the way...when I saw the "pen" I thought of it as the prison form. Does that say anything weird about me? :) Happy blogging!
