There is something very wonderful about waking up and finding out that it snowed while you were asleep. There is also a big sigh when you realize you can still see the grass!
We recieved a light dusting of snow last night, just enough to tease us. The kids at school did their best to make as many snowballs as they could before it all melted away. I wish we could just get dumped on, 6 inches or more, enough to last a few days, create a ton of snowballs and a snowman (or two). Anyway, today was Donnie's birthday so I told him the snow was a present.
Here's to snow days no matter how small!

Happy belated birthday Donnie! I forgot that he had a January birthday too...must be a good month.
I am hoping for snow for my birthday, too. However, I am pretty sure it will be old snow and not new stuff. Oh well, old snow is good snow..as long as it is white and pretty.
We are supposeed to receive up to 13 inches tomorrow, Friday, and 7 more on Saturday. Want to come join us?
