While it's true that every stage in your child's life is amazing and precious don't you find yourself wishing they wouldn't grow up so fast? I think that is the real allure of a time machine, so mothers can go back every once and a while and witness again what they so fondly remember. Take this picture for instance, he was adorable trying to hold on to his flower and basketball at the same time.
In a way he still does that, he really struggles with keeping up all his interests the biggest conflict is between basketball and horses(basketball is winning) but he laments that he does not have enough time to spend working in the yard like he wants. Me, I just look at him in wonder and think how awesome our God is who creates this ever growing and changing boy.
This picture was taken Tues night.
He made that shot, 14 pts total and 10 rebounds that night.
Notice his size compared to the other JV boys...the Varsity boys have nicknamed him "little Charles" because he is strong, solid and hard to move.(sports fans will understand that reference.) Just as long as it doesn't evolve into the "round mound of rebound" we will be OK.

Yes. They grow up to fast. I guess that's one of the reasons why I find myself so much more clingy with Travis than I was with the others. I realize that this will be the last time I get to hold one of my kids at this sweet stage in their life.

Why does time have to fly by so fast? Can't we just slow it down a little? Sigh.
